The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office managed to capture a man on their Most Wanted list, over the weekend.
18 year old Jesse Lee Medlock was taken into custody Saturday (August 17th) and he’s currently facing almost 20 different charges including Escape and Aggressive Driving.
The charges stem from an incident occurring June 21st – during which Medlock led officers on a high speed chase through Rome after they had pulled him over and cited him for having neither a tag nor insurance.
Medlock then sped away, reaching speeds of up to 130 mph during the pursuit – before he finally abandoned the vehicle on the train tracks at Burlington Road and fled on foot.
