Additional information has been released regarding a Friday afternoon accident which sent one person to the hospital.

A Cedar Bluff resident Dylan Moses, age 19, was rushed to Cherokee Medical Center by EMS ground units, after his 1996 Suzuki collided with a 2013 Toyota Tacoma being driven by 32 year old Andrew Ellis Teal, also of Cedar Bluff – in front of the Cherokee County Courthouse on Main Street.

Moses was air-lifted from Cherokee Medical to an area trauma center, apparently suffering a leg injury. No additional information regarding the extent of his injuries was immediately available and the exact cause of the crash is under investigation by the Centre PD.

The accident took place before 3:00 with the Centre Police and Fire Departments, Cherokee EMS and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responding to the scene.
