One person was injured in a single vehicle accident occurring on County Road 106 in Leesburg on Saturday afternoon. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the mishap involved a 2001 Chevy being driven by Tyler Elkins of Leesburg. No information was given regarding the extent of injuries suffered by Elkins.
According to reports the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, there was also a fuel leak reported as a result of the impact.
The accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
