Emergency personnel were called to the scene just after 4:00 p.m. – The Tucker’s Chapel Fire Department, Cherokee EMS, Rescue Squad personnel, Sheriff’s Office deputies and State Troopers responded.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, the accident occurred at 4:10 p.m. involving a 2015 Chevy being driven by 18 year old Matthew Brown of Henagar. Brown was listed on the report as being injured and was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash
