One person was injured in a single vehicle accident on County Road 19 near County Road 24 on Saturday morning. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the mishap occurred at 5:45 a.m. involving a 2004 Chevy being driven by Hunter Cureton of Piedmont.
The report did not note the extent of Cureton’s injuries.
Floyd EMS units, Rescue Squad personnel, the Mt Weisner Fire Department and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to the scene.
