A single-vehicle rollover occurring Wednesday evening in Cedar Bluff resulted in the driver amazingly receiving only minor injuries.
That wreck took place just before 7:00pm, on County Road 75, when 25 year old Gaylesville resident Jake Highfield lost control of the vehicle just past County Road 41, left the roadway and struck several trees before landing upside down.
Highfield, who for the most part was only shaken up, was treated at the scene.
That road was closed down for an extended period of time while crews worked to clear the debris away, and remove the vehicle.
Those responding to that scene included Cedar Bluff Police and Fire Units, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Cherokee EMS and Alabama State Troopers.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
