At least one person was injured in a single vehicle rollover on Friday afternoon on County Road 1 in Sand Rock.
A passerby noticed the vehicle on its side and immediately stopped to assist the victim and call 911.
Emergency crews from Cherokee EMS, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad, the Sand Rock Fire Department and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident reports, 49 year old Cheryl Ashley of Gadsden was injured when she flipped her 2008 Ford.
Ashley was transported to Cherokee Medical Center for treatment.
