One person was taken to the hospital after being injured in a two car accident in front of the Cherokee County Courthouse on Friday afternoon in downtown Centre.
One of the SUV’s involved ran up onto the sidewalk in front of the courthouse narrowly missing a street light, the vehicle did strike a large flower planter.
The Centre Police and Fire Department, Cherokee County EMA, Floyd EMS and Rescue Squad personnel responded to the scene.
