One person was taken to Redmond Regional Medical in Rome on Tuesday afternoon after being involved in a two vehicle accident on Cedar Bluff Road directly behind the Cherokee County Detention Center.
Sheriff’s office deputies and investigators were in the parking lot at the sheriff’s office when the accident occurred and immediately responded to check on the drivers involved. Centre Police also responded to the scene in addition to Cherokee EMS.
We will have more information as soon as the Centre Police Department’s accident report is released.
