Two people were injured in two car crash on Highway 9 just north of Cedar Bluff in front of the Country Store on Saturday afternoon.
The mishap involved a Dodge mini-van and a Dodge Ram pickup truck, the driver of the van fortunately received only minor injuries and was taken to a Rome area hospital by Cherokee EMS ground units while the driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.
Traffic was closed to one lane as crews worked to clear debris from the roadway and remove the vehicles.
Cedar Bluff Police and Firefighters, Cherokee EMS and the Cherokee County Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
