One person was taken to the hospital after being involved in a two vehicle crash between a passenger car and an 18 wheeler on Highway 68 at the intersection of County Road 48 in Sand Rock on Monday afternoon.
The driver of the passenger car was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries while the driver of the truck was uninjured.
The Sand Rock Fire Department, Floyd EMS and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
