UPDATE| Both Suspects In Custody In Connection With Burglary At A Jamestown Residence

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, a resident in the Jamestown Community held 2 burglary suspects at gun point after catching the couple inside her home. The homeowner called 911 and Sgt. Sheldon Estes quickly responded to the scene. Sgt. Estes arrested 20 year-old Benjamin T. Roulane, of Summerville, Georgia, but the second suspect, Alexia McGuire, 18 of Summerville, fled the burglary scene when she saw the homeowner.

McGuire was extradited back to Cherokee County on Friday and was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center on three counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft of Property. She was later released after posting a $15,000 bond

Roulane was transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center for second degree burglary. Sheriff’s Office investigators also charged him with 3 counts of third degree burglary and second degree theft of property in connection with crimes that took place earlier in the week.

Roulane has since been released after posting a $42,500 bond.
