WEIS Radio Morning Show Host Jerry Baker recently welcomed Cherokee County Career & Tech School Principal Brett Keasler to the studios to discuss this weekend’s Open House:

This event is normally held at night, however this year the school system chose to move the gathering to Saturday during the day in the hope that more parents would be able to attend and see firsthand what their students do at tech school and also spend valuable one-on-one time with teachers.

These tech school students are learning important job skills that will give them a head start in an increasingly competitive job market:

That Open House is set for Saturday (April 14th), between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm – guided tours will be available and refreshments will be served.
