Owner of Gadsden/Etowah EMS Wanted for Writing Bad Checks / UPDATED

Roger Dale StanmoreThe owner of the Gadsden/Etowah EMS is wanted for writing bad checks – according to Etowah County District Attorney Jimmie Harp.

WBRC out of Birmingham reports that Roger Dale Stanmore, has been charged with four counts of negotiating worthless negotiable instruments.

The district attorney says those bad checks were written to Gadsden/Etowah EMS employees.

Employees walked off the job roughly two weeks ago, after reportedly not being paid for several weeks.

The company filed for bankruptcy shortly afterwards, and later returned their business license to the Alabama Department of Public Health.

UPDATE

Etowah County District Attorney Jimmie Harp says bad check charges against Gadsden/Etowah EMS owner Roger Dale Stanmore – have been dropped.

Stanmore reportedly presented payment in full, along with all associated fees, to the office of the district attorney on Wednesday.
