Two Albertville men have been arrested, and charged with stealing almost a half-million dollars worth of farm equipment.
Both 53 year old Jody D. Morgan and 38 year old Steven Ray Parker were arrested on July 18th, in connection with the operation.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Agricultural & Rural Crime Unit has announced that a total of eleven pieces of farm equipment, worth more than $489,000, has been recovered.
That equipment had been stolen out of Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee and North Carolina.
Parker has been released on bond from the Etowah County Detention Center however Morgan is still being held there with additional charges pending in Marshall County.
