Phone service to the Cherokee Medical Center Rural Health Clinic in Centre has been disrupted because of the Christmas Day explosion in Nashville, Tennessee, that damaged AT&T equipment.
The phone number, 256.927.4900, is only working occasionally. If you cannot get through, please visit the clinic at 395 Northwood Drive.
The primary phone line to Cherokee Medical Center is also not working. Area residents can contact the hospital at 256.484.1663 if they have any questions.
Floyd’s Information Services and Technology team is working with AT&T to resolve the issue.
