The Piedmont All-Stars are headed to the Dixie Youth World Series in Laurel, Mississippi.
The team claimed the 9 and 10 year old AAA State Championship on Friday by beating Troy by a final score of 17 to 16.
After losing the first game of the tournament, the young Bulldogs won six straight games.
The World Series begins on Saturday, August the 3rd.
Piedmont will represent Alabama and will open up against the Arkansas State Champions in the 1st round.
