Piedmont residents turned out Saturday night to celebrate Christmas.

The annual Piedmont Christmas Parade featured floats, the Piedmont High School Marching Band, antique vehicles and much more.

The first place winner among the Piedmont Christmas Parade floats in the “Best Overall Parade Entry” was the Friendship Friday Youth Group #26 of RiverEast Baptist Church in Gadsden.

The first place winner for the City of Piedmont Annual Christmas Parade in the “Most Original” Category was the Bethel Family Worship Center in Piedmont.

Parade plaques were presented at the Clyde H. Pike Civic Center after the parade.

Pictured, representing Bethel is the Rev. Sherry Donaldson along with Parade Co-Chair Ben Singleton, and Parade MC Keith Word.

Honorable mention went to the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Piedmont.

The first place winner of the “Best Theme: category was the Pool Doctor in Piedmont.
