The City of Piedmont held the 7th annual Piedmont Polar Plunge on Saturday morning at the Piedmont Aquatic Center.

Piedmont Mayor Baker praised organizers of the event calling this year’s one of the best yet.

Venecia personally experienced the seemingly endless misery of cancer treatment. She wanted to give back to her fellow warriors and set a personal goal to brighten the day of those in treatment by sharing her faith and love. The result was the Care Bags for cancer patients which are filled with useful items for patients undergoing treatment.
