A Piedmont man was arrested on Monday afternoon and charged with a violation of the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act.
Terry Wayne Wright, 45, was booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center, just after 3:00pm. No bond has been set.
Wright is listed on the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website as a registered sex offender residing at 5994 County Road 14 in Piedmont.
Wright is required to register as such due to a Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree charge.
