Piedmont Man Jailed in Georgia After Being Caught with Marijuana Plants in Car

A Piedmont man was booked into the Floyd County Georgia Jail after marijuana plants were reportedly found in his vehicle during a traffic stop Tuesday.

According to jail records, 21-year old Malachi Dustin Chandler was pulled over by a Georgia State Trooper after he ran the red light at Shorter Avenue and Redmond Circle.  He was then found in possession of an undisclosed quantity of marijuana plants.

Chandler is charged with Manufacturing Marijuana, Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device and Driving on a Suspended License.
