WEIS Radio has received numerous calls over the past several days regarding the Piedmont location of River City Propane and delivery delays by the company.
We contacted the Piedmont store and spoke with Ricky Pruitt, General Manager of Propane Operations for River City Propane and passed along the information we’d been given by the unhappy customers we’ve been hearing from:
We also addressed the fact that many of those callers are upset about the fact that they had “pre-paid” for their propane order – and still haven’t received their delivery:
With another night of bone-chilling cold in store (Thursday, January 18th), and the National Weather Service predicting temperatures dropping down to the teens, River City customers are rapidly running out of patience.
We asked Pruitt what his customers could expect in the coming days:
According to the latest weather update, we should have a slight warming trend starting this Friday; let’s hope that all River City customers will be taken care of – and ready for the next round of cold weather which will surely make an unwelcome return.
