Piedmont Resident Arrested on Charge of Attempting to Elude Stemming from February Incident

A Piedmont woman was booked into jail over the weekend in Floyd County, Georgia – on a felony warrant charging her with attempting to elude law enforcement.

Thirty year old Shirlisa Kanae Brown failed to stop for authorities and was traveling at around 100 miles per hour on Alabama Street going toward Gadsden Road in Cave Spring as she headed toward the state line.

The alleged incident occurred back on February 8th – and she was finally located and taken into custody to face charges in connection with the pursuit.

Brown was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain a single lane, and a headlight violation.
