Police Say Cedar Bluff Man Tried To Hit Another With A Tractor

A Cedar Bluff man has been arrested in Floyd County after allegedly attempting to hit another man with a small tractor.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 43 –year old Ralph Carlos Swafford II, of a Highway 9 address attacked the man at an address on Black’s Bluff Road near the state line early Tuesday morning with a Bobcat skid-steer tractor with a forklift attachment.

Swafford then reportedly got out of the tractor and pushed the victim into a fence, causing visible wounds to his arms.

He was charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor battery.

Bond has been set at 11-thousand 200 dollars.
