Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating Timothy Wayne Hamrick.

He is wanted on warrants for Robbery 1st, Assault 1st and Burglary 1st for his role in an incident that happened on July 2nd.

At that time a 52-year old resident in the 1200 block of Hoke Street told police two white males knocked on his door, said their vehicle was broke down and asked to use his phone.

When he turned to get his phone the men forced their way inside the residence, demanded money and medication while striking him repeatedly in the face with their fists and a handgun.

The victim lost consciousness and was unsure how much of his property was stolen.

He was taken by ambulance to Gadsden Regional for treatment.

Witnesses standing outside and close by were able to give police a description of the suspects and their vehicle.
