Rainbow City Man Charged with Sexual Abuse of a Child

Davis in Rainbow CityA 44 year old Rainbow City man has been charged with sexual abuse of a child.

Robert Wesley Davis remains lodged in the Etowah County Detention Center with bond set at $75,000 following his arrest on charges of First Degree Sexual Assault, and Sexual Abuse of a Child under the age of 12; an investigation was launched March 26th, after information was received from the Southside Police Department.

Interviews were conducted by the James M. Barrie Children’s Center, with assistance from the Etowah County District Attorney’s Office.

David was booked into jail just after 6:30 Friday evening (March 27th).
