A Rainsville man was jailed early Saturday following a scuffle with law enforcement officers on Broad Street in Rome, Georgia. According to Floyd County Jail records 26 year old Justin Blake Everett, who was yelling and cursing, stated that, yes, he had been drinking.
He then allegedly punched two deputies in the face and head – and threatened one of them.
Everett stands charged with felony Obstruction, Terroristic Threats & Acts, Simple Battery Against a Police Officer and Disorderly Conduct.
