Real Life “Guitar Hero” Sends Home Invasion Suspects Running

Three teenagers are residing behind bars, following a robbery incident at an East Gadsden residence on Tuesday night.

According to a Gadsden Police Department report – at around 8:00pm at a home in the 500 block of Blythe Street three suspects allegedly robbed the two women who were present in the home.

One of the women said she answered a knock at the door and was confronted by a person wearing a red shirt with a red bandana pulled over his face; the man forced his way in and was followed by two others – both with their faces concealed.

According to the other woman, who was pregnant – after she told the intruders they had no money one of the men punched her in the stomach; at that point the husband of the woman who answered the door came out of a back bedroom – armed with a guitar – which he used as a club and quickly sent the three teens running out the door.

Those three suspects, one age 17, and two ages 18, were taken into custody by police in the 300 block of South 9th Street a short time later; one of the three had a fresh cut on the right elbow – which probably resulted in an out-of-tune guitar.
