The Floyd County Police Department Criminal Investigations Division has arrested 38 year old Stacy Leanna Lowery of Padlock Mountain Road in Cave Spring on four counts of felony Exploitation of the Elderly/Disabled Adults and on four counts of felony Neglect to Disabled Persons.

An investigation was opened after a request from the Executive Director of the Renaissance Marquis Retirement Village after alert staff members discovered missing medications and narcotics (pills) from several elderly residents.

The investigation was conducted as a joint effort between the Renaissance Marquis and FCPD Investigators.

This investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.

According to an arrest warrant at the Floyd County Jail – one of the victims was 95 years of age. That warrant also states that Lowery was the Assistant Director of Resident Care at Renaissance Marquis.
