Report: Andy Dick fired from film over sexual harassment claims

Getty Images/Michael Bezjian(LOS ANGELES) — Actor and comic Andy Dick is responding after he was reportedly fired from an independent film over claims of sexual harassment.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that two sources on the set of Raising Buchanan say the 51-year-old former NewsRadio star was dismissed for “groping people’s genitals, unwanted kissing/licking and sexual propositions of at least four members of the production.”

“I don’t grope people anymore. I don’t expose myself anymore,” Dick told THR, though he did allow, “I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That’s my thing — I licked Carrie Fisher at a roast. It’s me being funny.”

He also said, “”Of course I’m going to proposition people. I’m single, depressed, lonely and trying to get a date. They can just say no, and they probably did and then I was done.”

This isn’t the first time Dick has been accused of inappropriate behavior.  He has a long history of it, something he readily admits to The Hollywood Reporter, joking, “my middle name is ‘misconduct’.”
