The Centre Police Department accident report regarding a three-vehicle accident occurring Halloween night on the Chesnut Bypass in Centre has now been released.

That wreck took place just after 6:00pm near Odyssey Fitness and involved a 2001 Hyundai Accent being driven by 73 year old Centre resident John Holcomb – that vehicle was pulling a 1998 Chrysler Sebring with Michael Holcomb, age 48, also of Centre, behind the wheel.  The Hyundai collided with a 1999 Toyota Camry driven by 34 year old Aaron McCarty from Cedartown, Georgia.

McCarty was transported via ground unit to Floyd Cherokee Medical Center for treatment – meanwhile, John Holcomb was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

That accident remains under investigation by the Centre Police Department.
