The reception for retiring Cedar Bluff Police Chief Steve Walden will be held today (Monday, September 30th) from 3:00 – 6:00pm at the Cedar Bluff Community Center, located at 3390 Old Highway 9.
Walden is retiring following 25 years of dedicated service to the community, saying he will of course continue to serve the town whenever he is needed; however, he plans on focusing on spending time with his family and doing a whole lot of fishing.
