Jared C. Tilton/Getty Images(RICHMOND, Va.) — This weekend, the Sprint Cup Series will hold its final race before its version of the playoffs, known as the Chase, begins.
Richmond International Raceway will host the Federated Auto Parts 400 on Saturday night. NBCSN’s coverage of the race begins at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The drivers who have won a race this season have qualified for the Chase, which kicks off September 18 at Chicagoland Speedway. A handful of spots remain available, with Jamie McMurray currently holding the final slot.
