Rita Cobb Hudgins, age 53 of Centre, passed away on Sunday, December 14th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 3:PM Wednesday, December 17th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Jones officiating; burial will follow in Unity cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:PM Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be family. Honorary Pallbearer will be Ernest Lee Sellers.

Survivors include son, Brandon Cantu of Houston, TX; mother, Louise Sanford of Centre; brothers, Joe (Darlene) Cobb of Centre, Frank (Gail) Cobb of Piedmont, Ty Cobb, Jr. of Centre; sister, Belinda (Steve) Hawkins of Centre; several nieces & nephews; special friend, Bonnie Bachelor.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Sanford and sister, Brenda Lindsey.

She was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Ty Cobb, was a cook at Waffle King and was of the Congregational Holiness faith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Congregational Holiness Church or to your favorite charity.
