Rogers Mourns Passing of General Colin Powell

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Lead Republican of the House Armed Services Committee, released a statement mourning the death of former Secretary of State General Colin Powell.

“I am saddened to learn of the passing of General Colin Powell.  He served his nation for decades in the United States military and he made history as the first Black Secretary of State and first Black Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.  I am praying for his family as they mourn his passing.”
