Rome Man Caught Driving Vehicle Stolen in Cherokee County

A Rome man who was pulled over for lack of a license plate landed in jail with considerably bigger problems – it turns out the car he was driving was apparently stolen out of Cherokee County, Alabama.  Floyd County Police pulled over 39 year old David Stephen Miller II for the traffic violation on Monday night and during the stop quickly learned that the vehicle had been stolen.

Miller was placed under arrest and charged with a felony count of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property.
