Rome Man Charged With Impersonating a Police Officer

A Rome resident has been charged with impersonating a Police Officer – after performing several traffic stops in Floyd County, Georgia.  Police state that 49 year old Terry Jason Rogers turned on bumper lights making the victims think that he was a police officer, conducting a traffic stop. 

Law enforcement officers eventually found Rogers and charged him with impersonating a public officer – and booked him in the Floyd County Jail.
