Ronald “Runt” Lewis, age 69 of Centre, passed away Friday, August 14th.
Funeral services will be 3:PM Tuesday, August 18th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Doyle Kerr officiating; burial will follow in Providence Cemetery on Hwy 411. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Ray Wheat, Dub Haggard, Deigo Haggard, Tommy Garland, Nathan Twilley, Ronnie Barnes Keith Walker, Johnny Ray Walker. Honorary Pallbearer will be Neil Bishop, Clyde Young, Dan Hancock. Special carriage escort will be provided by Gramlin May.
Survivors include daughters, Kelly Lewis Bishop of Adairsville, GA and Kandi Regina Lewis of Cartersville, GA; the mother of his children, Faye Lewis; grandson, Landon William Bishop brother, Johnny Mack (Brenda) Lewis of Cedar Bluff; sister, Pat (Bobby Wayne) Twilley of Centre; nephew Nathan Twilley; Nieces Sheena Peek and Ashley David.
Mr. Lewis was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late JL and Margaret Colleen Gossett Lewis and was of the Baptist faith.
