Ronnie William Johnson, age 69, of Centre; passed away Tuesday, December 15th, 2020 at his residence.

He is survived by his son, Daniel (Mandy) Johnson of Centre, AL; daughter, Deanna (Brian) Reed of Centre, AL; sister, Rhonda Johnson of Centre, AL, niece, McKinley Rouss; grandchildren, Dannah Jo and Kisor Johnson, Corbin and Chloe Battles, Cadence Reed; special friend, Sheila Lay; special family, Tina McCurdy and Savannah McCurdy .

Mr. Johnson was a native of Cherokee County and was the son of the late Edna Tallent Johnson and George W. Johnson, Jr. He worked many years in the engineering department at the Cherokee County Hospital, and was a lifetime member of the Cherokee County Rescue Squad having just received his 50 year pin.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Friday at the funeral home, with the memorial service to follow at 3pm in Perry Funeral Home Chapel. Honorary pallbearers are Members of the Cherokee County Rescue Squad.
