RSVP Program Offering FREE Tax Services for Individuals

There’s good news for Cherokee County taxpayers – and even though that may sound like a contradiction in terms, it’s not (at least in this case).

First of all, you have to understand that paying taxes is just part of staying on the preferred side of the bars; however, you don’t necessarily have to pay a big chunk of what Uncle Sam doesn’t get, to have your tax preparation done by professionals.

RSVP 11Traci Pondick and Jim Bryan with RSVP recently stopped by the WEIS Radio studios to tell our listeners about the valuable services they provide:

Those services are geared toward the elderly (those 60 and above) and the low-income but ANYONE can take advantage of the program.

We asked Mr. Bryant what the service costs:

That tax program is operated every year between the last week of January and April 15th – and the Centre Office is open on Tuesdays from 10:00am – 2:00pm in the Cherokee County Administration Building.

That means you only have two days left to visit them – April 7th and 14th.
