GADSDEN – Lanie Henderson posted 18 points, 10 rebounds and a pair of assists, but they weren’t enough to lead the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats at Class 7A Gadsden City on Tuesday night. They fell by the final of 56-53.
Haley Grace Lisenbee added nine points, five assists, two rebounds and a steal for the Lady Wildcats (12-9). Katelyn St. Clair contributed eight points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Kennedy Henderson had six points and three boards. Arleigh Beard came away with five points, eight boards and a steal. Maci Brown finished with four points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Sand Rock opens the Cherokee County Tournament on Friday against Cherokee County on Friday at 7 p.m.
