ALEXANDRIA – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats defeated Glencoe 25-20, 25-14 and Donoho 25-19, 25-17, then lost to Spring Garden 17-25, 21-25 in the Champions Serve It Up volleyball tournament on Saturday.
Hannah Davis delivered 23 kills and 21 digs for the Lady Wildcats (9-3). Lanie Henderson collected 14 kills, five blocks and four aces. Katelyn St.Clair contributed 10 kills. Caley Garrett posted 47 digs.
McKenna Ballenger added 34 assists and 13 digs. Jacey Stephens came away with 23 assists, four blocks, seven aces and six kills. Maci Brown had nine kills and five blocks.
Cheyanne Fuqua accounted for six kills and four blocks. Makenzi Blackwell finished with 13 digs and five aces. Sand Rock goes to Geraldine for a tri-match with Sylvania on Monday.
