SAND ROCK – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats swept Cherokee County and Ashville in volleyball action on Tuesday. They defeated Cherokee County 25-12, 25-13 and Ashville 25-21, 25-14 to improve to 13-0 on the season.
McKenna Ballenger accumulated 45 assists and four aces. Lanie Henderson posted 21 kills. Katelyn St. Clair collected 14 kills, 12 digs and seven aces. Jacey Stephens and Jadyn Foster had 11 and six kills respectively. Chloe Stephens contributed six aces, and Caley Garrett finished with 18 digs.
Sand Rock travels to Fort Payne for a quad match with Plainview and Southside on Thursday.
