Save Weiss lake and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department conducted their 3rd Annual Lake Clean up. Water was to high to get down on the lake front, so crews worked at the boat ramp at Cedar Bluff, Leesburg Landing and several roads along the lake.
Special thanks to Cherokee County Probate Judge Kirk Day for showing his support and to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver. Although the Sheriff has told us it’s not necessary, Save Weiss Lake says they plan to make a contribution to the Sheriffs Auxiliary Deputy Fund. Great Job by all those involved.
