Scott Anthony “Tony” McGinnis, 22 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Monday, July 4th in Centre.
Funeral services will be 4PM Friday, July 8th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Cosby, Rev. Tracy Nelson and 1St SGT Monroe officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 4PM Friday, at the funeral home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Cedar Bluff High School Class of 2011.
Survivors include parents, Colleen McGinnis of Cedar Bluff and Scott H. McGinnis of Richmond, KY; sister, Katie McGinnis of Cedar Bluff; grandparents, Judith Combs of Cedar Bluff, John & Linda McGinnis of Richmond, KY; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tony was a native of Cherokee County, was currently serving in the US Army Reserves and was a member of the Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cedar Bluff Booster Club or Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church Youth.
