Scottie Dewayne Barnes, age 38 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Saturday, February 2nd at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:PM Tuesday, February 5th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jesse Parker officiating; burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Ben Parker, Frankie McDaniel, Buster Houge, Justin Barnes, Timothy Barnes, Preston Bliss.
Survivors include his mother, Judy Barnes and step-father, Nathan Jackson of Cedar Bluff; aunts, Betty Parker of Sand Rock, Wendy (Buddy) McDaniel of Cedar Bluff; sister, Cortney Reed of Centre; chosen sisters, Kimberly Boyd, Jerica Hough, Tisha Holcomb; special dog, Sophie.
Mr. Barnes was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Charles Maxwell and was of the Holiness faith.
