Search efforts continue for a plane that disappeared from radar Thursday night in Etowah County.
Gadsden/Etowah County EMA officials say the plane was last seen on radar in the western end of Etowah County.
The search is situated between Lawson Gap Road and Old Baker Gap Road off Alabama 179 near Boaz. A command post has been set up in the area as volunteers resumed searching at 6:30am Friday.
The Marshall Co. Sheriff’s Office is also assisting.
