State Senator Andrew Jones (R-Centre) announced Saturday at the Etowah County Republican Breakfast that he has opened a new local legislative office in Gadsden. While all Alabama legislators have offices in Montgomery, this is the first time in memory that there has been a local Etowah County legislative office.Senator Jones’ new office will be in Room 213 of the Etowah County Courthouse, located at 800 Forrest Avenue in Gadsden. The office is able to accommodate small group meetings, and will also host meetings of the Etowah County Legislative Delegation.
Office hours will be by appointment only, and any constituent or group requesting a meeting with Senator Jones is invited to schedule an appointment by calling (334)-261-0857, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or messaging at facebook.com/ANDREWforSENATE.“I’m excited about this new opportunity to provide better access and services to my local constituents,” said Jones. “The public is always welcome to call, email, or message if there is anything I or my office can do to assist them, or if they would like to set up an in-person meeting at the Gadsden office.
I would like to thank CAO David Akins and the members of the Etowah County Commission for helping to make this possible.”Those wanting to visit the new office will have an opportunity to do so at an open house, which will be held on Friday, August 2 from 12:00-5:00PM prior to First Friday in Downtown Gadsden.Light refreshments will be served. The easiest way to access Senator Jones’ office is through the side entrance, which is also the County Commission parking lot. After going up 1 ½ flights of stairs to the top floor, Senator Jones’ office will be directly in front of you to the right.
