Several Arrested on Controlled Substance Charges Tuesday

A number of people were arrested on Controlled Substance charges in Cherokee County on Tuesday.

Phillip Cauy Taylor, age 21 from Piedmont – was charged with three counts of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance;

Dana Nicole Cox, age 41; Kayla Jade Ray, age 21; Jeff Albert Herring, age 58; Misty Karolynn Grizzard, 38; James Michael Bostick, 47 and Gary Douglas Rainey, age 58 – all of Piedmont – were charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Grizzard was additionally charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.

Bond for each individual was set at $3,000 – with the exception of Grizzard with bond set at $3,500 and Taylor, whose bond was set at $7,500.
