Save Weiss Lake, the Cherokee County Sheriffs Office, the Weiss Lake Improvement and 4 other volunteers braved the cold and cleaned up trash on the Boat Ramp area and on the causeway between Centre and Cedar Bluff this week.
The cleanup was concentrated on areas where the trash would wash into the Lake. Sheriff Shaver says that they will continue the cleanup of the causeway as weather permits.
Save Weiss Lake would like to extend a heartfelt THANKS to all those who worked diligently making the project a success.
